Misty & CJ are a bonded pair and were rescued from a rural Colorado shelter. Misty is the black/gray dapple and CJ is red/brown. They ended up at the shelter through no fault of their own. Their owner had advanced dementia and was no longer able to care for them. They came to us overweight and in need of dentals and grooming. We got all of that taken care of and then CJ came down with pancreatitis. Pancreatitis requires intensive treatment and is potentially life threatening. CJ did survive and is well enough to be adopted with Misty. They are a bonded pair and will not be separated. They are between 6-8 years old, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, had bloodwork done and microchipped. They love people and do well with dogs thier size. They would be fine as the only 2 pets in the home. A quieter home with someone who is home a good portion of the time would be ideal for them. We do not know their exposure to children or cats so children 12 and older only. They have wonderful personalities and dispositions and will be great companions. Not able to adopt but want to help with all of the care they have needed? A donation can be made on this website. An adoption application can be completed on this website also. Colorado adoption only
