Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue. The name was inspired by the story of an incredible dog named HOPE. Click HERE to read The Miracle of Hope. Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue formerly known as the Clear Creek County Animal Rescue League (CCCARL) is a 501 (c)(3) non profit, 100% volunteer rescue organization. Hope for Animals is constantly striving to place rescue animals into great homes. We are always in need of volunteers and donations.

Please note that Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue and the Clear Creek/Gilpin Co. Animal Shelter are two separate, independently managed organizations. Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue saves animals from several shelters in the region, most who are in danger of being euthanized, and finds temporary living situations for them until they are adopted. All Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals are living in boarding facilities or foster homes. The animals featured on this website are Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals and others that do not live at the shelter.

The adoption fees for Hope For Animals dogs is $125, puppies are $150, cats are $75 and kittens are $100. Adoption fees cover spay/neuter costs and vaccinations up to the point of adoption.

Looking for cats or kittens?
All of our cats are in loving foster homes and are very well cared for. If you adopt a cat of kitten from HFACCR, you will be getting a well socialized cat, which has had their vaccinations, except rabies. All of our cats/kittens have been spayed or neutered and they will have been FIV/FeLV tested and de-wormed. Adoption fees for cats are $75.00 and kittens are $100.00. Some rough statistics on shelters:
Out of eight to ten million animals that are in shelters annually, roughly 60% of those dogs are euthanized. Of the other 40% that are adopted out there are 20% of those returned for medical or behavioral problems. Info obtained from National council on Pet Population study and policy, which is a colalition of animal-related organizations, based on estimates from the American Society for the prevention of Cruelty to animals and the American Veterinary Medical association.

We have pet adoptions periodically, please check our website calendar or send an e mail or fill out an application if you are interested in seeing one of our animals. Our adoption events have a high success rate and we can always use more volunteers.
