HOPE FOR ANIMALS-CLEAR CREEK RESCUE
Our Mission is to help abandoned, lost and suffering animals through rescue, shelter and public education. We will raise and hold funds for those not able to speak for themselves. Working alone or with other rescue organizations, shelters and animal welfare groups, we will be their advocates for rehoming, veterinary services and humane treatment, regardless of species, breed or age.
Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue. The name was inspired by the story of an incredible dog named HOPE. Click HERE to read The Miracle of Hope. Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue formerly known as the Clear Creek County Animal Rescue League (CCCARL) is a 501 (c)(3) non profit, 100% volunteer rescue organization. Hope for Animals is constantly striving to place rescue animals into great homes. We are always in need of volunteers and donations.
Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue saves animals from several shelters in the region, most who are in danger of being euthanized, and finds temporary living situations for them until they are adopted. All Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals are living in foster homes. The animals featured on this website are Hope For Animals - Clear Creek Rescue animals.

Looking for cats or kittens?
All of our cats are in loving foster homes and are very well cared for. If you adopt a cat of kitten from HFACCR, you will be getting a well socialized cat, which has had their vaccinations, except rabies. All of our cats/kittens have been spayed or neutered and they will have been FIV/FeLV tested and de-wormed. Adoption fees for cats are $75.00 and kittens are $100.00. If you are interested in a cat/kitten from HFA, please contact us or fill out an application at
Don't see the animal you are looking for? New cats and dogs arrive weekly so check back often.
An intact dog can produce two litters a year of 6-10 puppies per litter, which means in six years, one female dog and her offspring, could produce up to 67,000 dogs. An average of 40,000 cats/dogs are euthanized in Colorado each year (that's JUST Colorado!). Please click on www.savecoloradopets.org and find out more about this state sponsored initiative to subsidize spay & neuter programs. Thank you. (taken from Tenderfoot Training web site)
Some rough statistics on shelters:
Out of eight to ten million animals that are in shelters annually, roughly 60% of those dogs are euthanized. Of the other 40% that are adopted out there are 20% of those returned for medical or behavioral problems. Info obtained from National council on Pet Population study and policy, which is a coallition of animal-related organizations, based on estimates from the American Society for the prevention of Cruelty to animals and the American Veterinary Medical association.

Cats need donations too:
- Cat food - wet, dry and special veterinary food
- Cat litter - any kind will do
- Cat toys
- Rugs, sheets, towels, beds,
- New and gently used, clean litter boxes
- Wire dog kennels
- Large and extra large Cardboard scratch boxes

Foster a Dog or Cat
If you have room at your home to care for an animal, you can help to save a life by creating space for another needy pet. Fostering can be done on either a short-term or long-term basis. Check out the Foster Parent and the Q&A tabs at the bottom of this site for more information!
